Introduction:

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year….pumpkin spice season!  I know I’m excited and this Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake Spread will not disappoint.

I made this for the first time a couple of days ago.  My youngest son Nolan is wild over it.  I even let him lick the beaters!  This dip is not too sweet and has a cup of pumpkin puree in it = healthy and a serving of vegetables, right?!

Resources:

Procurements:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened for 10 minutes or so on the counter
  • 1 c. pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 c. caramel sauce
  • 1 T. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • Dash each of ground nutmeg and cloves
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Operating Procedures:

In your mixing bowl, dump all of the ingredients.  Mix well until light, fluffy, and combined.  Store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before digging in.  I like to top with pecans just before serving too.

Proposals:

I really like using apples, graham crackers, or pretzels for dippers.  This is also fantastic topped on your morning bagel.

Closing Remarks:

I could come up with a million excuses to eat this.  It will please the pickiest of eaters to make fruit disappear!
