Introduction:

I have talked about this before, but I will say it again, my life is crazy busy these days! During the week I need quick and easy meals I can put on the table, or I won’t cook! These Ranch Pork Chops have great flavor, and who doesn’t like ranch flavored anything??!!

This fits the bill! We love bone in pork chops, but you could easily make this with boneless pork chops.

Resources:

Procurements:

  • 2 pork chops, bone in
  • 2 t. ranch seasoning
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper
  • 2 t. olive oil

Operating Procedures:

Be sure pork chops have rested for 20 minutes at room temperature.

While pork chops are coming to room temperature, mix together the ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.  Rub the mixture all over the pork chops. Let the rub sit on the pork while pan is heating.

Heat non-stick pan over medium to medium-high heat. Cook pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side.  Internal temperature should register 165 degrees.

Remove from pan and loosely cover with foil.  Allow meat to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Proposals:

I serve this with easy roasted green beans or sweet potatoes.  Quick and easy is the name of the game!

Closing Remarks:

This would be great made with boneless chicken breasts as well.
