Today’s Memo:  Father’s Day Gift Guide!

June 21st is less than 4 weeks away.  And yes, while we know that many Daddy’s stick with the “don’t get me anything” routine, chances are, that same phrase landed all you mothers out there a pretty sweet gift back on May 10th.  Here are our some of our favorite gifts that we think are pretty swell.

Becky and Charlotte’s Favorite Gifts for Michael:

1. Apple Watch (Sport Edition)

Apple Watch 38mm Silver Aluminum Case with White Sport Band

Michael LOVES watches (he collects them) and working out (sometimes!), so it is just natural that he would love to receive the new Apple watch!

2. Grilled Pizza Kit

Mr. Bar-B-Q 06187X Grill Stone Pizza Set

I grew up eating amazing homemade pizza that my father made, and he has passed that love onto me, which I passed onto my hubby! And our current favorite way of making it is on the grill.  We have a make shift set up now, but either my father or my husband would love to receive this kit!

3. Baseball Tickets (or any sporting event)

My husband is also obsessed with baseball! He loves the Baltimore Orioles, but any team and any sporting team tickets would be a gift! I know, I know, but husband has expensive hobbies 😉

4. Art of Shaving Kit

The Art of Shaving Full Size Kit ($150 Value), Sandalwood

To me, nothing is sexier than when my husband has a clean shave with a great shave kit! This kit is a little pricey, but smells AMAZING and according to Michael, makes shaving not so torturous! You can also buy smaller starter kits, but this is a great value compared to buying it at the store.

5. Grill Gloves

60% SALE! Makimy Premium Quality Heat Resistant EN407 Certified - 2 Professional Barbecue-Grill-Oven Cooking Gloves + Bonus 50 BBQ Recipes - Size XL

These are great, not only for the grill, but also in the kitchen! My husband is always burning his arm hair on a hot grill or smoker! These are great!

Kelly, Preston, and Nolan’s Favorite Gifts for Garey:

6.  Beer Equipment Kit

Gold Complete Beer Equipment Kit (K6) with 6 Gallon Glass Carboy

A few years back, I bought Garey a gift certificate to a local “brew your own beer” shop (The Flying Barrel in Frederick, MD).  Since then, he has been hooked on brewing at home with his own beer brewing equipment.  After buying the equipment, I can now buy him future gifts of beer ingredient kits, such as these, which come with all the ingredients for one batch of beer:

True Brew Oktoberfest Home Brew Beer Ingredient Kit

True Brew Bavarian Hefeweizen Home Brew Beer Ingredient Kit

True Brew Pale Ale Home Brew Beer Ingredient Kit

7.  Infrared Temperature Gun

Nubee Temperature Gun Non-contact Digital Laser Infrared IR Thermometer

This is for a gadget lover!  This little gun is fun to use and measures the temperature from a distance.  Perfect for checking temperate on items such as BBQ grills, swimming pools, beers…need I say more.  🙂  I’ll even admit, I’ll be stealing this when I make the next batch of soaps and candles.  Very handy little helper.

8.  Keurig

Keurig K45 Elite Brewing System, Black

This is by far one of Garey’s favorite things (and mine).  If you have a coffee lover in the house, they will love the Keurig.  Hate the waste?  I recommend San Francisco Bay K-Cups, which are 97% biodegradable.

San Francisco Bay Onecup Variety Pack Coffee - 80 Count Onecup For K-cup Brewer - Caffeinated - Breakfast Blend Rainforest Fog Chaser French Roast

9.  Weber Gas Grill

Weber 47510001 Spirit E310 Natural Gas Grill, Black

My Dad is a huge grill fan.  He swears by a Weber Grill’s quality, raving about how they last for years.  In the past, Garey and I have gone through one grill after another before I finally splurged for this one last Father’s Day.  No regrets.  The grill has held up wonderfully and still looks brand spanking new, after almost daily use last grill season.

10. Compact (aka Beverage) Refrigerator

The day I bought Garey his man cave refrigerator was a good day.  Easy access to cold brews for him.  More kitchen fridge space for me.  Win, Win.  🙂
