Today’s Memo: Spring Cleaning
It’s that time of year! Open the windows, air out the house, and enjoy the warmer weather ahead. I recently read an article about the current trend of buying air fresheners to make the house smell good, as opposed to actually just cleaning your house to make the house smell good. Very interesting indeed. It is a world full of wall plug ins and Febreeze. It got Becky and I conversing with our top 10 go-to cleaners.
Here are our tried and true top 10 recommended cleaning helpers:
It works on so many things! Use it to clean and polish stainless steel pots and even kitchen sinks. You can also use it to make a paste and clean tile grout without the elbow grease.
2. Dust Monster
This little duster is cute and effective. Just clean, launder, and reuse. Easily cleans blinds and vents, as well as all other dusty surfaces.
3. Scrub Daddy
These are recently discovered little gems! They work wonders on so many things on a daily basis. They are safe and don’t scratch any surfaces.
Perfect for a quick wipe down of the bathroom, kitchen, or anything else that needs cleaning.
This floor cleaning system is great! It is easy to use, and protects your floors. We love the wash and reuse cleaning pads.
Accidents happen. This cleaner works wonders on pet stains. We’ve been using it for years. Do yourself a favor and buy the twin pack!
This works on so many surfaces and leaves a pleasant scent. Great non-toxic spray, and makes us feel safe to use around our kids. We recommend the Lavender and Pink Grapefruit scents.
This is a must for all carpets, with or without the pets. It’s amazing how fresh it leaves the carpet. This really gets down into the carpet and refreshes it. Great on car mats also to refresh your commute. 🙂
This wood cleaner works on solid wood. Great for cleaning kitchen cabinets.
A bit of a splurge, yes, but worth every penny. Cleans the carpet while you catch up on anything but vacuuming. Have had it for years. LOVE it. Will buy another the day our current one dies!
